Riverworthy

Riverworthy is a brand and mobile application designed in partnership with The Painted River Project which focuses on in advocating to improve the health of Australia's river systems. The app is targeted at school students to educate students about the importance of protecting their local rivers. The project was conducted as a group project of 4 students where each student was responsible for an area of the project including Branding, social media and advertising, research and content creation, App design and prototyping. My role was focused on designing the mobile application consisting of all screens and illustrations of the interactive map graphics. The applications design seeks to engage local communities and act as a platform to promote and bring people together to attend events for the

Painted River project. The application allows users to learn about their local rivers as well as contribute and conduct discussions with other users through a discussion board as well as upload photos to a gallery of their local rivers and artworks created at Painted River events. the application has a user friendly design allowing users to seek out different river locations near and far through an interactive map. Users can select certain points on the river map and explore information about each location and explore the gallery of photos that people have posted at that specific location.
