WSU Student Events

I was tasked to create different design static and motion graphic works for the student events team at Western Sydney University. Two major events I worked on with the team were Diversity Fest and Western Fair. These assets were designed for the Western Student life Instagram page as part of an initiative to increase student engagement to encourage active involvement in the student community events.

Diversity Fest: I was tasked to create a series of information-based social media graphics for Instagram focusing on statistics about different types of diversity focusing on Gender, race, religion, disability etc. Data and information were collected and provided to me by the Diversity Fest Project Officer, and was tasked convert information into simple graphics to communicate to the students. For this project, I was required to follow the Diversity fest colour theme and brand guidelines for the event to ensure brand consistency across social media posts during the event.

Western Fair: I focused created a series of animated graphics to be used for Instagram stories to promote major prize giveaways for students attending Western Fair events. The brief needed to be fun and engaging whilst following the brand guidelines and keeping colour and type consistent to be used across Western Sydney University's main social media channels.
